Two sheets of laid Ingres D’Arches paper machine sewn and folded to become 30.5 x 17.5cm. Screen printed at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design by Shelley Rose. Concrete poem printed in maroon ink using various sizes of Garamond Bold italic and Garamond Bold modified into a slanted roman on one side. Text printed in violet on the other side with map image in red, handpainted using ochre and sienna concentrated water colours. Sewn into kraft-backed mull covers stencilled with title in sienna. Accordion of Okawara paper folded vertically and then into six pages attached to a unique papier mache construction by SJ. Plastic curtain rings attached to the construction with vellum strips allow accordion to be hung to 78cm length. When folded, it is wrapped in black voile and enclosed in a box.
